Responsibilities
- Perform comprehensive cleaning tasks across residential properties, including dusting, vacuuming, mopping, and surface polishing
- Handle laundry duties such as washing, folding, and organizing clothing and linens with care
- Maintain high standards of sanitation by disinfecting bathrooms, kitchens, and common areas
- Use appropriate cleaning tools and products to ensure effective floor care, carpet cleaning, and surface maintenance
- Assist with outdoor work when necessary, including sweeping porches or patios and maintaining outdoor spaces
- Manage time efficiently to complete scheduled tasks within designated timeframes while maintaining quality standards
- Safely perform manual handling tasks such as heavy lifting of furniture or appliances when required for deep cleaning or rearranging
Skills
- Proven experience in residential cleaning or janitorial roles with knowledge of sanitation best practices
- Strong understanding of floor care techniques, including carpet cleaning and maintenance of various flooring types
- Excellent customer service skills with a friendly attitude towards clients and their families
- Ability to perform manual handling safely, including heavy lifting and outdoor work tasks
- Effective time management skills to prioritize tasks and complete assignments promptly
- Experience in housekeeping management or hotel housekeeping roles minimum of 2 years required
- Familiarity with commercial cleaning procedures and janitorial equipment is advantageous
