We are looking for someone who demonstrates:

Here is a glimpse of what you’ll do:
- Perform FAI (new part first article), 1st piece, in-process and final inspections to ensure production parts meet print.
- Create, modify and run CMM programs (Zeiss Calypso).
- Create inspection plans.
- Use hand gages and equipment, CMM, and Vision System to perform inspection requirements.
- Enter, evaluate and address NCRs (Nonconforming Reports)
- Work on Process Improvement Projects
- Interact with Engineering, Production, and Customers to resolve technical issues.
- Identify and measure critical features from customer supplied drawings and models. Update incoming and final part inspection reports.
- Audit incoming parts at receipt to ensure all parts conform to print.
- Verify supplier inspection data and certificate of conformances are adequate.
- Follow Company required documentation and AS9100D quality system requirements.
- Maintain part files and documentation.
Here is some of what you’ll need (required):
- Blueprint reading and interpretation skills. Able to apply GDT.
- Previous experience and strong capability using all types of measuring equipment.
- Must have strong written and oral communication skills suitable for customer interaction.
- Strong Organizational skills.
- Experience in the use and calibration of inspection equipment.
- Strong PC skills in Microsoft based programs such as MS Word and MS Excel.
Here are a few of our preferred experiences:
- AS Engineering or Technical Degree or 3 years hands on experience in Quality Control.
