Join our vibrant early childhood education team as an Assistant Preschool Teacher! In this role, you will support lead teachers in creating a nurturing, engaging, and educational environment for young children. Duties
- Assist in implementing curriculum plans that promote early childhood development, literacy education, and foundational math skills
- Support classroom management by maintaining a positive and inclusive atmosphere for children aged 2 to 5 years
- Engage children in age-appropriate activities including physical education, arts and crafts, storytelling, and play-based learning
- Help with classroom organization, lesson planning, and preparation of educational materials for early childhood education
- Monitor and support children’s behavior using effective behavior management techniques to foster cooperation and respect
- Collaborate with lead teachers to assess individual progress through observations and standardized testing when applicable
- Ensure the safety, health, and welfare of children during all activities, including toddler care and daycare routines
Requirements
- Prior experience working with children in a preschool or daycare setting is preferred
- Knowledge of childhood development principles, classroom management strategies,
- Strong communication skills to effectively interact with children, parents, and team members
- Familiarity with curriculum development, lesson planning, and early intervention techniques
- Ability to work well in a team environment while demonstrating patience and enthusiasm for teaching young learners
- Certification or coursework in early childhood education or related fields is a plus
- Commitment to child welfare standards and understanding of classroom safety protocols
