Position Title: Clean Linen Assistant
Wage: $16.24/hour
Shift: 1st
Hours: 7:00am-3:30pm
Clean Linen Assistant Responsibilities:
- Load and unload laundry items from washers, dryers, carts, and conveyor systems
- Feed clean laundry into flatwork iron press machines and finishing equipment
- Operate flatwork iron pressing machines, air finishers, shirt finishers, and related laundry equipment safely and efficiently
- Spray carts with disinfectant and wipe down carts and work areas to maintain sanitation standards
- Shake out linens and materials to remove wrinkles and creases before processing
- Position linens and flatwork items properly onto feeder ribbons or conveyors for machine processing
Clean Linen Assistant Requirements:
- Ability to work in a fast-paced production environment
- Ability to lift, carry, and move materials up to 50 pounds
- Ability to stand for extended periods and perform repetitive tasks throughout the shift
- Ability to work in hot and humid environments
- Ability to follow written and verbal instructions
