The Retail Assistant Manager will work in person at our Polaris Mall location to oversee daily store operations, ensure excellent customer service, achieve sales goals, and maintain a productive and positive work environment. This role helps supervise staff, manage inventory, and ensure compliance with company policies and procedures.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist in daily store operations and supervise staff.
- Deliver outstanding customer service and resolve customer concerns promptly.
- Help with recruiting, onboarding, training, and developing team members.
- Monitor employee performance and provide coaching and feedback.
- Help achieve sales targets through effective merchandising and sales strategies.
- Maintain store appearance, cleanliness, and visual merchandising standards.
- Oversee inventory management and stock replenishment.
- Handle opening and closing procedures.
- Ensure compliance with company policies, health and safety regulations, and security procedures.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent (associate's or bachelor's degree preferred).
- Previous retail experience, including supervisory or leadership responsibilities.
- Strong customer service and communication skills.
- Excellent organizational and problem-solving abilities.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
- Basic proficiency with point-of-sale (POS) systems and Microsoft Office applications.
