You will be responsible for coordinating domestic and international logistics, export documentation, production support, purchasing coordination, inventory control, vendor communications, shipment tracking, and related operational functions. Duties may be modified as business needs to evolve. Your responsibilities will also include, but are not limited to:
Responsibilities
- Managing and overseeing all domestic and international shipping operations for Texas International Oilfield Tools.
- Coordinating international shipments from order preparation through final delivery.
- Preparing, reviewing, and maintaining all required international shipping documentation, including commercial invoices, packing lists, export documentation, certificates, and customer-required paperwork.
- Coordinating with freight carriers, logistics providers, suppliers, customers, and internal departments to ensure timely and accurate shipment delivery.
- Tracking shipments and resolving logistical issues, delays, or documentation discrepancies.
- Ensuring all products are properly packaged, labeled, and prepared according to company and customer requirements.
- Maintaining accurate shipping records, production documentation, inventory records, and operational reports.
- Supporting production operations to ensure orders are completed accurately, efficiently, and on schedule.
- Receiving, inspecting, and organizing incoming materials and inventory.
- Assisting with inventory control, purchasing coordination, scheduling, and supply chain improvement initiatives.
- Maintaining accurate records within company systems.
- Following all company safety policies, quality procedures, and operational standards.
- Performing additional duties and responsibilities as assigned by management.
Requirements
- Proven experience in warehouse operations with familiarity in shipping & receiving procedures.
- Strong knowledge of inventory management practices and software tools such as Warehouse Management Systems (WMS), ERP systems (e.g., AS400), or inventory management software.
- Ability to operate warehouse equipment including forklifts (certification preferred), reach trucks, pallet jacks, and RF scanners safely.
- Basic math skills for order calculations, measurements, and inventory adjustments.
- Excellent data entry skills with attention to detail for accurate documentation.
- Effective communication skills to coordinate with team members and external vendors or carriers.
- Prior experience with international trade regulations and trade compliance is a plus.
