Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Pool Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring the cleanliness, maintenance, and proper functioning of residential and commercial swimming pools. This role requires a strong mechanical aptitude and the ability to work independently while providing exceptional service to our clients.
Duties
- Perform regular pool cleaning and maintenance tasks, including skimming, vacuuming, and brushing pool surfaces.
- Conduct water quality tests and balance chemicals to ensure safe swimming conditions.
- Inspect and repair pool equipment, including pumps, filters, heaters, and lighting systems.
- Utilize hand tools and power tools effectively for repairs and maintenance tasks.
- Maintain accurate records of services performed and communicate with clients regarding their pool needs.
- Troubleshoot mechanical issues related to pool systems and recommend appropriate solutions.
- Provide excellent customer service by addressing client inquiries and concerns in a professional manner.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in pool cleaning and maintenance is preferred.
- Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to operate hand tools and power tools safely.
- Ability to work independently as a service technician while managing time effectively.
- Excellent problem-solving skills with a keen attention to detail.
- Strong communication skills to interact with clients professionally.
- A valid driver's license is required for travel between job sites.
