We are seeking a friendly, enthusiastic, and customer-focused Sales Associate to join our jewelry store team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for fine jewelry, a strong attention to detail, and the ability to provide exceptional customer service. As a Sales Associate, you will play a key role in helping customers find meaningful pieces while maintaining the store’s presentation, recording repairs, calling/texting customers, and doing minor fixes.
Key Responsibilities:
Customer Service & Sales
- Greet and engage customers in a warm, professional manner
- Understand customer needs and offer recommendations
- Present, describe, and sell jewelry and related products
Store Operations
- Maintain a clean, organized, and visually appealing sales floor
- Assist with merchandise displays and stocking as needed
- Process transactions using the point-of-sale (POS) system
- Record customer repair information into google sheets
- Do minor jewelry and watch repairs
- Call/text customers for estimates, updates, and pick ups
Security & Inventory
- Follow proper procedures for handling valuable merchandise
- Help prevent loss through attention to detail and adherence to store protocols
Team Support
- Collaborate with team members to meet store objectives and assist customers
- Work with the team for projects and learning opportunities
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Prior retail or jewelry sales experience a plus but not needed
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Professional appearance and demeanor
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Ability to work some Saturdays
Available Hours: This would ideally be a part time role (max 30hr weekly) but we are flexible with days/hours during the week but some Saturday's are mandatory with additional hours and days available during December. Our standard working hours are 8:45am-5pm Mon-Friday and Saturday's 8:45am-3pm.
Pay: $15.00 - $18.00 per hour
