Central Kansas Mental Health Center is seeking a detail-orientated and motivated Billing Specialist to join our team. Our Billing Department manages a diverse payer mix including Medicaid, Medicare, TRICARE, commercial insurance, and self-pay accounts. This position will verify insurance eligibility and benefits, submit and track claims, resolve denied or unpaid claims, post payments, respond to inquiries, and collaborate with staff or insurance companies to resolve billing issues.
Requirements for this position are a high school degree or equivalent, previous experience with medical billing, familiar with Microsoft excel, outlook, and word, and excellent customer service.
