POSITION SUMMARY: Assists in the implementation of an early childhood preschool program by providing a safe learning environment for children through a structure conducive to young children's learning.
EDUCATION/CERTIFICATIONS:

High school diploma or equivalent

Associate's degree in Early Childhood Education preferred

First Aid and CPR certification obtainable upon hire
EXPERIENCE: One year of successful experience working with preschool children and their parents

- Assists with the implementation of a quality preschool program for young children.

District-wide as requested for supervision and professional meetings.

Personal contacts with participants and parents, community education staff, school professional and support staff, Community groups and volunteers

Provide supervision of participants

Perform other duties as required by the Preschool Coordinator and/or Early Childhood Coordinator.
Work Hours: Tuesday - Friday; 8:00 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. and 1 Monday/month (12-4)
