Overview
We are seeking a skilled Iron Door Installer to join our team in Utah and Idaho. This role involves installing custom iron doors and windows and related hardware at various locations throughout Utah and Sometimes Idaho, ensuring quality craftsmanship and adherence to safety standards. The ideal candidate will have experience in construction, door hanging,, window installs with a strong focus on precision and durability.
Duties
- Install iron doors, Accordion Doors, Sliders and Windows according to schematics and blueprints
- Use hand tools, power tools, and welding equipment to assemble and secure door components
- Perform metal stud framing, trim carpentry, and fixture installation as needed
- Read and interpret schematics, technical drawings, and mechanical plans
- Conduct caulking, sealing, and finishing work to ensure proper fit and appearance
- Lift heavy doors and components safely while maintaining proper posture
- Collaborate with team members to meet project deadlines and quality standards
- Maintain a clean and organized work area on-site
Skills
- Proven experience with glass installation and Teachable to learn Accordion Door Assembly
- Proficiency with hand tools, power tools, and construction equipment
- Ability to read blueprints, schematics, and mechanical drawings accurately
- Knowledge of locksmithing, fixture installation, and electrical systems is a plus
- Strong understanding of construction site safety protocols and procedures
- Mechanical knowledge related to door hardware, lock systems, and metal framing
- Experience with remodeling projects and finish work of Trim, Stucco and Drywall
- Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and work at heights when necessary
- Construction site experience with a focus on metal framing or remodeling projects is preferred

Pay: $50,000.00 - $70,000.00 per year
