POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES:

Scan all packing slips into DocStar ECM System and sends CMMS packing slips to Purchasing department.

Receive all non-part number PO’s (Purchase Orders) and direct them to the appropriate personnel.

Process all outgoing shipments, including:
- Generating UPS/FedEx labels.

Booking airfreight and normal freight shipments.

Coordinating timely transfer of shipments to the designated building.
- Build skids for outgoing freight shipments, ensuring proper and secure packaging.

Assist with unloading trucks, adhering to safety protocols.

Help with organizing and moving material around the dock as needed, optimizing space and workflow.

Maintain contact with personnel in every building and all project managers regarding incoming and outgoing communications, providing updates and addressing inquiries.

Proven experience in a shipping and/or receiving role, preferably within a manufacturing environment.

Exceptional attention to detail is critical for accurately processing shipments, verifying orders, and maintaining records in a highly regulated environment.

Ability to lift and move packages of varying weights (up to 35lbs) and perform tasks that may involve standing, walking, and bending.

Excellent written and verbal communication skills to interact effectively with internal teams (e.g., Purchasing, Project Management, Quality), external carriers (UPS, FedEx, freight companies), and potentially customers.

Comfortable using computers and navigating various software applications.

Demonstrated experience using DocStar or another similar Electronic Document Management System (EDMS) for scanning, indexing, retrieving, and managing documents (specifically packing slips in this case) is preferred.

Familiarity with Managers Plus or another CMMS/EAM system for accessing or inputting information related to received goods or potentially generating shipping documentation is preferred.
