Job Title: Universal Worker
This is an (AS NEEDED) /PRN position!
Shift hours- vary 3p-9p, 4p-9p, 7a-3p, 3p-11p
Shift Days- Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, Friday, Saturday, Sunday
Duties:
- Provide care and assistance to individuals
- Assist with daily living activities, including personal hygiene, meal preparation, and medication reminders
- Monitor and record vital signs of individuals under your care
- Perform light housekeeping duties to maintain a clean and safe environment
- Support individuals in participating in recreational activities and social interactions
Experience:
- Previous experience working with people is preferred
- Knowledge of first aid and CPR is a plus
- Ability to lift and assist individuals with mobility needs
- Familiarity with home care or senior care practices is beneficial
- Valid driver's license
Skills:
- Compassionate and patient demeanor when working with individuals
- Strong communication skills to effectively interact with individuals, their families, and other staff members
- Ability to follow instructions and adhere to care plans
- Attention to detail in documenting observations and reporting any changes in behavior or health status
