Trade Marketing Representative
The Trade Marketing Representative is responsible for driving sales growth by executing tailored sales and merchandising programs across retail accounts within a defined territory. This role combines field-based account management, strategic planning, and in-store execution, including product placement, promotional activity, and retailer engagement.
It includes activities such as analyzing sales data, managing stock and orders, negotiating sell-out agreements, and monitoring market trends.
Key Responsibilities:
- Plan and prioritize store visits using sales data and customer importance.
- Execute marketing programs, negotiate volume agreements, and ensure product placement aligns with planograms.
- Provide strategic insights, track competitor activity, and guide retailers on tobacco category management.
- Maintain merchandising standards and support with inventory management when needed.
- Record and evaluate performance using internal tools like Synergy
Qualifications:
- College Graduates are welcome
- A minimum of a High School Diploma is required, with further education or experience in CPG sales (preferred)
- Valid driver's license
- Strong computer skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
- Solid commercial understanding
- Excellent communication skills
- Strong selling skills, with a focus on the Double Win approach
- Knowledge of Synergy (reporting & data)
- Strong analytical skills
