Job Summary

Duties
- Lead the planning, coordination, and execution of construction projects, ensuring adherence to schedules, budgets, and safety protocols.
- Review and interpret blueprints, schematics, and contracts to ensure accurate project understanding and implementation.
- Manage subcontractors, suppliers, and internal teams through effective communication and project coordination strategies.
- Utilize tools like Bluebeam, to track progress, update schedules, and resolve issues proactively.
- Oversee site activities to ensure compliance with safety standards and quality expectations; conduct regular site inspections.
- Prepare comprehensive reports on project status, risks, and milestones for stakeholders; adjust plans as needed for continuous improvement.
- Negotiate contracts and change orders while maintaining strong relationships with clients and vendors.
- Ensure timely procurement of materials and equipment by coordinating with vendors using construction estimating techniques.
- Manage all aspects of project documentation including schematics, contracts, permits, and progress reports.
Experience
- Proven experience managing large-scale construction projects on-site with a strong understanding of civil engineering principles.
- Extensive knowledge of construction management software such as Bluebeam.
- Demonstrated ability in project scheduling, contract negotiation, blueprint reading, and schematic interpretation.
- Strong background in construction estimating processes combined with practical site experience.
- Familiarity with heavy civil or commercial construction projects is highly desirable.
- Excellent time management skills with the ability to prioritize multiple tasks effectively under tight deadlines.
- Prior experience coordinating multidisciplinary teams across various phases of construction projects is essential.
