We are looking for a Project Assistant to join our growing team and play an important role in keeping our remodeling projects organized, properly supplied, and moving forward on schedule.
Position Overview:
The Project Assistant will be a primarily field-based position responsible for coordinating materials, deliveries, and job-site needs across our active remodeling projects.
This is an excellent opportunity for someone who is highly organized, dependable, hands-on, and comfortable working both independently and with a project management team. The ideal candidate understands that successful remodeling projects depend on having the right materials, at the right place, at the right time.
Key Responsibilities:
- Inspect deliveries for visible damage, shortages, or incorrect items and promptly report discrepancies.
- Coordinate material pickups, returns, exchanges, and transfers between vendors, warehouses, and job sites.
- Help ensure materials are available to installers and subcontractors when needed.
- Maintain organized material staging at job sites when appropriate.
- Monitor upcoming project needs and proactively identify materials that need to be ordered, delivered, or picked up.
- Assist with maintaining accurate project records and delivery documentation.
- Take photos and provide updates from job sites when requested.
- Communicate job-site issues or material concerns to the appropriate Project Manager.
- Assist with general project coordination and administrative tasks as needed.
- Travel regularly between job sites, vendors, warehouses, and the company showroom/office.
- Help maintain clean, organized, and professional job sites.
- Assist with receiving and organizing materials at company locations.
- Support the project team with miscellaneous field tasks necessary to keep projects moving efficiently.
- Represent Concept Kitchen & Bath professionally when interacting with homeowners, vendors, installers, and subcontractors.
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in construction, remodeling, home improvement, cabinetry, flooring, or a related field is preferred.
- Strong organizational and time-management skills.
- Excellent attention to detail.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities simultaneously.
- Strong communication and follow-through.
- Comfortable working independently in the field.
- Ability to identify problems and take initiative to resolve them.
- Basic computer and smartphone skills.
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
- Ability to lift and move materials as required by the position.
- Professional appearance and attitude.
- Construction or remodeling experience is a plus, but we are willing to train the right candidate.
The Ideal Candidate
We are looking for someone who is reliable, proactive, organized, and hands-on.
You should be the type of person who notices that something is missing before it becomes a problem, follows through without being reminded, and takes ownership of getting things done.
Experience in kitchen and bath remodeling, construction, or material coordination is highly valued, but attitude, accountability, organization, and willingness to learn are equally important.
Pay: $20.00 - $30.00 per hour
