Position Summary - Construction Manager
The Construction Manager is responsible for managing all phases of luxury residential construction, including pre-construction planning, scheduling, budgeting, procurement, quality control, client communication and warranty service. This role requires strong experience in custom home building, high-end finishes and construction project management.
Responsibilities:
- Manage all phases of construction projects from pre-construction through completion and warranty
- Create and maintain construction schedules, procurement schedules and critical path timelines
- Review architectural plans, engineering drawings and interior design packages for constructability and accuracy
- Secure building permits, approvals and jurisdictional clearances
- Prepare scopes of work for subcontractors and suppliers and support estimating, budgeting and purchasing activities
- Conduct pre-construction and startup meetings with trades and suppliers
- Perform detailed quality control inspections to ensure luxury-level craftsmanship and high-end construction standards
- Lead field operations, coordinate subcontractors, resolve field conflicts, review change orders and maintain strong trade relationships
- Maintain clean, orderly, presentable and OSHA compliant job sites
Qualifications :
- 5+ years of experience in residential construction project management.
- Deep knowledge of construction methods, Florida building codes, sequencing, scheduling, budgeting and procurement
- Strong leadership, communication, organization and problem-solving skills
- Decisive, proactive, detail obsessed and committed to building exceptional homes
- A team player who brings a positive energy to interactions with the team, sub-contractors and clients and who knows how to finish a home
