About the Role
As a Procurement Specialist, you will drive operational efficiency by managing the end-to-end acquisition of essential materials, equipment, and services. You will play a pivotal role in optimizing our supply chain, ensuring cost-effectiveness, and maintaining seamless production schedules through strategic vendor partnerships and data-driven decision-making.
Responsibilities-
Execute the full procurement lifecycle, from identifying reliable vendors to securing competitive pricing for raw materials and custom fabrication.

Negotiate favorable terms and contracts to maximize value and ensure high-quality delivery standards.

Manage purchase orders for stock and project-specific needs, ensuring accuracy and timely fulfillment across multiple product lines.

Proactively monitor supplier performance and delivery schedules to mitigate risks and prevent production bottlenecks.

Analyze inventory levels and update min/max data to maintain optimal stock levels while reducing carrying costs.

Resolve shipment discrepancies and quality issues by collaborating closely with internal stakeholders and external suppliers.

Contribute to the refinement of purchasing strategies to streamline processes and achieve ongoing cost savings.
Qualifications-
7+ years of experience in procurement within a manufacturing, sub-contracting, or project-based environment.

Deep understanding of supply chain management principles and vendor relationship strategies.

Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel, for data analysis and reporting.

Demonstrated ability to manage multiple complex projects simultaneously with high attention to detail.

Strong negotiation, analytical, and problem-solving capabilities.

Associate degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field.

Experience with ERP or inventory management software systems.
