Jr. Glass Installer Job Description
We are seeking a motivated and dependable Junior Glass Installer to join our team. This entry-level position is ideal for someone looking to build a career in the glass and glazing industry. The apprentice will work alongside experienced glaziers to learn installation techniques, safety procedures, and industry standards for residential and commercial glass projects.
Responsibilities:
- Assist with installing glass for windows, doors, shower enclosures, storefronts, mirrors, and other glass systems
- Help measure, cut, handle, and transport glass materials safely
- Prepare job sites and assist with setup and cleanup
- Learn to use glazing tools and equipment properly
- Support senior glaziers with repairs, replacements, and custom installations
- Follow all workplace safety guidelines and use proper PPE
- Load/unload materials and maintain organized work vehicles and workspaces
- Read and interpret basic measurements, blueprints, and work orders
- Communicate professionally with team members and customers
Requirements:
- High school diploma or GED preferred
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
- Ability to lift 50–100 lbs with assistance
- Comfortable working at heights and in varying weather conditions
- Basic math and measuring skills
- Strong work ethic and willingness to learn
- Construction experience is a plus but not required

Pay: $15.00 - $18.00 per hour
