Job Summary
We're seeking an Indirect Procurement Buyer to support Facility Services sourcing (lawn care, waste management, janitorial, minor maintenance) for a leading commercial vehicle manufacturer. In this contract role, you'll prepare bid and RFQ packages, analyze supplier bids and pricing, and develop sourcing strategies while working closely with cross-functional business stakeholders and leadership. This is a great opportunity for an experienced procurement professional who's comfortable presenting strategy to leadership and driving supplier relationships from onboarding through contract approval.
Responsibilities
- Prepare bid and RFQ packages for facility services sourcing
- Analyze supplier bids, pricing, and underlying cost drivers
- Prepare sourcing process documentation and research industry trends/benchmark data
- Coordinate supplier onboarding requests and route contracts for approval
- Present sourcing strategies to leadership
- Work closely with cross-functional business stakeholders and team members
Requirements
- Minimum 5 years of indirect procurement experience
- Experience procuring facility services (lawn care, waste management, janitorial, minor maintenance)
- Experience with spend analysis and sourcing strategies
- Experience working with cross-functional leadership and team members
- Experience presenting sourcing strategies to leadership
- Strong communication and leadership skills
- In-office Monday–Thursday, remote Fridays
