Responsibilities
- Prepare and serve a variety of coffee beverages, teas, and food items according to established recipes and standards.
- Provide excellent customer service by greeting customers warmly and taking their orders accurately.
- Operate the Lavu POS system for order processing and cash handling, ensuring accurate transactions.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the workspace, including equipment and dining areas, adhering to food safety standards.
- Assist with inventory management by monitoring stock levels of supplies and notifying management when replenishment is needed.
- Engage with customers to provide recommendations, answer questions about menu items, and resolve any issues that may arise.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth operations during peak hours.
Experience
- Previous experience in the food service or retail industry is preferred but not required.
- Familiarity with cash handling procedures and basic math skills for accurate transaction processing.
- Knowledge of food safety practices to maintain a clean and safe environment.
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with diverse clientele.
- Experience using POS systems, particularly Aloha or similar platforms, is a plus.
