Job Title: Assistant Processor – Real Estate Title Company
Position Summary
We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Assistant Processor to support our title processing team throughout residential and/or commercial real estate transactions. This role is responsible for assisting with file setup, document preparation, communication with clients and partners, and ensuring transactions move efficiently from contract to closing.
The ideal candidate is dependable, customer-focused, able to manage multiple deadlines, and comfortable working in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Open and establish title files for incoming transactions
- Review purchase contracts and collect required documentation
- Order and track title searches, payoffs, HOA information, surveys, and other closing-related documents
- Prepare and organize closing packages and transaction files
- Communicate with lenders, real estate agents, buyers, sellers, attorneys, and internal team members regarding transaction status
- Enter and maintain accurate information in title and closing software systems
- Assist processors with clearing title requirements and resolving outstanding items
- Schedule closings and coordinate timelines with all parties involved
- Ensure files are complete, compliant, and properly documented prior to closing
- Perform general administrative and customer service duties as needed
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required; associate’s or bachelor’s degree preferred
- Previous experience in title, escrow, mortgage, real estate, lending, or administrative support preferred
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to prioritize multiple files and meet deadlines
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office and ability to learn title/closing software platforms
- Customer-service mindset with a professional and positive attitude
Preferred Experience
- Familiarity with real estate transactions and title processing workflows
- Experience working with settlement software (Qualia) platform
- Understanding of closing timelines and title requirements

Pay: $45,000.00 - $50,000.00 per year
