Responsibilities
- Prepare and cook a variety of pizzas according to established recipes and quality standards
- Ensure all food handling and safety protocols are strictly followed to maintain a clean and safe kitchen environment
- Assist in menu planning by suggesting new pizza flavors and toppings based on customer preferences and current trends
- Operate kitchen equipment safely and efficiently, including ovens, knives, mixers, and other culinary tools
- Maintain cleanliness of workstations, utensils, and cooking areas throughout your shift
- Support food preparation for catering events or special occasions as needed
- Serve pizzas promptly and courteously to ensure excellent customer satisfaction
Qualifications
- Proven experience in food industry roles such as restaurant or kitchen work, with a focus on pizza or similar cuisine
- Strong culinary skills including food preparation, cooking techniques, and knife skills
- Knowledge of food safety standards and proper food handling procedures
- Experience with menu planning and meal preparation in a fast-paced environment
- Background in dietary department or dietary aide experience is a plus
- Excellent food service skills with the ability to serve guests efficiently and professionally
- Familiarity with fine dining or catering environments is advantageous
- Ability to work well under pressure while maintaining attention to detail
