Compassionate Caregiver Needed – Female Hospice Client | Lomita, CA
We are seeking a compassionate, dependable, and experienced caregiver to provide overnight care for a wonderful female client in Lomita, CA. This is an opportunity to make a meaningful difference by providing comfort, dignity, and companionship during the client's end-of-life journey.
Schedule
- 12-hour night shifts
- 3–4 nights per week
- Must be available to work at least one weekend day each week
Caregiver Responsibilities
- Provide compassionate personal care and assistance with activities of daily living
- Prepare meals and ensure the client remains comfortable and well-nourished
- Offer companionship, emotional support, and reassurance
- Maintain a calm, safe, and peaceful environment
- Monitor the client's comfort and report any changes to the family or care team
- Support the client with dignity, patience, and respect throughout hospice care
Ideal Candidate
- Kind, patient, and dependable
- Experience caring for clients with dementia is required
- Hospice or end-of-life care experience is preferred
- Comfortable assisting with personal care
- Excellent communication skills
- Able to provide compassionate companionship and emotional support
- Passionate about making a positive impact during an important stage of life
