Holy Trinity Episcopal School is looking for a part-time paraprofessional for the 2026-2027 school year to help serve our students' educational needs in our new Extended Transition Program. Students who attend our Extended Transition Program are aged 18 to 22 and are gaining independent living and work skills through classroom and supported work experiences. Our students have unique learning abilities and learning challenges such as Autism Spectrum Disorder, ADHD, Dyslexia, and other learning differences. The paraprofessional will work with students in the transitional classroom setting and assist the Extended Transition Program Coordinator.
Our goal is that every student who goes through the Holy Trinity Episcopal Extended Transition Program will have the character, knowledge, skills, and faith necessary to pursue a college or vocational degree, start a career, and live an independent and rewarding life.
The successful candidate must possess:
- Good attention to detail and be able to follow instructions
- Good written communication skills
- Good computer skills including experience with Google docs and/or Microsoft products
- A positive attitude and be flexible in the work environment
- Good life skills and be a self-starter
Qualifications:
- Required: High School Diploma
- Required: Good driving record and the ability to obtain a CDL
- Required: Ability to pass a background check
- Preferred: Experience teaching others one-on-one or in small groups
- Preferred: Experience working with people with unique abilities and learning needs
