ABOUT BOYLE BRANDS
Boyle Brands is a boutique CPG food and beverage operations and commercialization firm based in Los Angeles, started in 2017. We work with emerging and established natural packaged food and beverage brands to navigate co-packer sourcing, product launches, and ongoing supply chain management from fast-growing startups to Fortune 500 companies.
We don't just advise. We execute. Everything we do is built on deep operator experience of launching over 600 product lines and a genuine commitment to the brands we work with. We are a small, high-performing team of 10 people. We move fast, we care about the work, and we hold a high standard across everything we touch. We have grown entirely on word of mouth and plan to keep it that way.
THE ROLE
Boyle Brands is seeking an Executive Assistant to work directly alongside our Founder. This is a dynamic, multifaceted role that spans business development support, vendor coordination, executive communications, and operational support. You will be a key part of how the business runs day to day, playing an active role in keeping our pipeline moving, our communications on point, and our Founder focused on the work that drives the business forward.
The ideal candidate is personable, highly organized, and thrives in a fast-paced environment where no two days look the same. You do not need a background in CPG or consulting. You need to be someone who communicates well, takes ownership of their work, and genuinely enjoys figuring things out.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Inbound Sales Call Screening
Serve as the first point of contact for prospective clients reaching out to Boyle Brands. Conduct initial screening calls to understand their business, their product, and their needs, and gather the information needed for the Founder to move the conversation forward. Represent the firm professionally and with genuine warmth.
Vendor Research and Outreach
Identify, research, and conduct initial outreach to potential co-packers, packaging suppliers, 3PL partners, and other vendor partners on behalf of Boyle Brands and our clients. Conduct qualification calls, document findings, and maintain our internal vendor database as a living resource for the full team.
CRM and Pipeline Management
Own and maintain our CRM system, keeping all contacts, pipeline stages, follow-up tasks, and deal notes current and accurate at all times. Ensure proposals go out on time, follow-ups are completed on schedule, and next steps are always documented and tracked. Support the ongoing development of our sales pipeline process so nothing falls through the cracks.
Executive Communications and Calendar Management
Manage the Founder's inbox and calendar with a high degree of judgment and attention to detail. Draft and send routine correspondence on his behalf, flag priority items for his direct attention, and keep his schedule organized and running smoothly. The goal is to ensure the Founder remains focused on client relationships and strategic priorities throughout the day.
Call Preparation and Follow-Up
Prepare and distribute structured agendas in advance of the Founder's calls. Immediately following each call, capture and distribute action items and next steps to ensure all commitments are tracked and followed through on.
Proposal Drafting
Draft customized sales proposals using our established templates, incorporating prospect-specific context and notes provided by the Founder. Produce clean, professional first drafts that are ready for light review and approval.
Travel Coordination
Manage all logistics for the Founder's travel including client visits, facility tours, and industry events. Book flights, hotels, and ground transportation and prepare detailed itineraries so every trip runs smoothly.
Content Coordination
Draft and schedule content for Boyle Brands on LinkedIn and Instagram, working from the Founder's direction and voice to maintain a consistent and professional brand presence.
Internal Organization
Support with organizing internal company tech suite and our key organizing functions like our Google Doc master tracker, our internal vendor database, our dropbox, calendly, typeform, and more.
WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR
We are not focused on a specific background or number of years of experience. We are looking for a specific kind of person.
The right candidate is genuinely organized, building systems and staying on top of details without needing to be reminded. They are comfortable and confident on the phone, able to represent Boyle Brands professionally in a live conversation without a script. They take initiative, push projects forward independently, and bring solutions rather than waiting to be told what to do next. They manage competing priorities with ease and communicate proactively when something needs attention.
Comfort with the following tools is required: Gmail, Google Docs, Google Sheets, Google Calendar, Dropbox, Calendly, and LinkedIn. Familiarity with Claude is a bonus.
You do not need to know the CPG industry on day one, but you need to be the kind of person who figures things out quickly and genuinely enjoys learning.
