Responsibilities
- Prepare food items efficiently while maintaining high standards of quality and food safety.
- Operate POS systems to process transactions accurately and swiftly.
- Provide excellent customer service by greeting guests, taking orders, and answering questions with enthusiasm.
- Upsell menu items to enhance guest experience and increase sales through effective suggestive selling techniques.
- Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards by bussing tables, cleaning workstations, and adhering to food handling regulations.
- Assist with food prep tasks including assembling orders, stocking supplies, and ensuring timely delivery of orders.
- Manage cash handling responsibilities with accuracy, including cash register operations and balancing registers at shift end.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in food preparation or quick service restaurant environments is preferred but not required; training will be provided.
- Familiarity with POS systems is a plus.
- Strong time management skills to handle multiple tasks efficiently during busy hours.
- Excellent customer service skills with a positive attitude and clear communication abilities.
- Basic math skills for cash handling, retail math understanding, and order accuracy.
- Knowledge of food safety practices, sanitation standards, and proper food handling procedures.
