The Project:
The operator of a major international airport is considering a further update to expand the main terminal, reconfigure concourses and phase out legacy passenger transport systems.
Shared with airline stakeholders earlier this year, the proposed programme is estimated at c.$22 billion, with completion targeted in the mid-2030s, forming part of a wider transformation to support significant long-term passenger growth.
By comparison, the existing master plan approved in 2025 outlined c.$7 billion of phased capital investment, aligned to projections of up to 90 million annual passengers by the end of the century.
The role: The Procurement Manager is responsible for establishing and managing procurement and supply chain activities across complex infrastructure or multidisciplinary programmes. The role ensures that procurement strategies, processes, and outcomes are aligned with programme delivery objectives, commercial requirements, and governance frameworks.

You’ll Be Responsible For:
Develop and implement procurement and supply chain strategies.
Lead procurement processes, including prequalification, tendering, evaluation, and award.
Manage supplier selection, onboarding, and performance monitoring.
Ensure alignment of procurement activities with programme scope, schedule, and delivery strategy.
Support development of procurement documentation, including RFPs, contracts, and evaluation criteria.
Manage commercial interfaces with suppliers in coordination with commercial and legal teams.
Identify and manage procurement risks, including market conditions, supply chain constraints, and performance issues.
Support contract administration and change processes from a procurement perspective.
Provide input into governance reporting, including procurement status and performance metrics.
Support value engineering, market engagement, and supplier innovation initiatives.
You’ll need to have:
Demonstrated experience in procurement or supply chain management within infrastructure or major programmes.
Strong understanding of procurement processes, contract strategies, and supplier management.
Experience managing complex procurement activities in regulated or public-sector environments.
Ability to manage supplier relationships and commercial negotiations.
Strong understanding of delivery risk and supply chain dynamics.
Procurement strategy, supplier management, and contracting, with skills in market analysis, cost optimisation, and negotiation.
Strong commercial acumen and negotiation skills.
Excellent stakeholder and supplier management capability.
Strategic and solutions-oriented mindset.
Experience working within complex, multi-stakeholder environments.
Relevant qualification in procurement, supply chain management, or a related discipline (desirable).
Note: The estimated starting salary for this position is $170k. Starting salary may vary based on permissible, non-discriminatory factors such as experience, skills and qualifications.
