Position Summary
Costex Tractor Parts is seeking an experienced and hands-on Human Resources Manager to support the organization’s HR operations and workforce needs. This position will be responsible for overseeing key HR functions, supporting management and employees, ensuring compliance with company policies and employment regulations, and helping maintain consistent HR practices across the organization.
The ideal candidate is a strong HR generalist who is comfortable working in a fast-paced environment supporting both corporate and warehouse/distribution operations. This individual should be able to balance employee relations, compliance, performance management, recruiting support, and day-to-day HR administration while serving as a trusted resource to employees and leadership.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities
- Manage and support daily Human Resources operations.
- Serve as a primary HR resource for employees, supervisors, managers, and department directors.
- Handle employee relations matters, including workplace concerns, conflicts, complaints, disciplinary actions, and investigations.
- Coach and advise managers regarding employee performance, attendance, corrective action, and company policies.
- Ensure consistent application of HR policies and procedures throughout the organization.
- Support recruitment and staffing efforts by partnering with Talent Acquisition and department leaders on workforce needs.
- Assist with onboarding, orientation, transfers, promotions, and employee separations.
- Manage and document disciplinary and performance-management processes.
- Support leave administration, accommodations, workers' compensation, and other employee-related matters.
- Maintain accurate and confidential employee records and HR documentation.
- Assist with the development, implementation, and communication of HR policies and procedures.
- Monitor compliance with applicable federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations.
- Partner with leadership to identify workforce challenges and develop practical HR solutions.
- Support employee engagement, retention, training, and leadership-development initiatives.
- Monitor HR trends and metrics, including turnover, attendance, staffing, and other workforce indicators.
- Participate in unemployment claims, employment verifications, audits, and other HR compliance activities.
- Work closely with payroll and benefits personnel to help resolve employee concerns when necessary.
- Support safety initiatives and collaborate with management regarding workplace incidents and employee safety concerns.
- Handle sensitive and confidential employee matters with professionalism and discretion.
- Perform additional HR-related duties and projects as assigned.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Management, or a related field preferred.
- 5+ years of progressive Human Resources experience, preferably in an HR Generalist or HR Management capacity.
- Previous experience supporting warehouse, distribution, manufacturing, logistics, or similar operational environments strongly preferred.
- Strong knowledge of federal and state employment laws and HR best practices.
- Demonstrated experience handling employee relations, investigations, disciplinary actions, and performance-management matters.
- Experience working directly with managers and senior leadership.
- Strong organizational and documentation skills.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong interpersonal, communication, and conflict-resolution skills.
- Ability to exercise sound judgment and maintain confidentiality.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office and experience working with HRIS or other HR systems.
- Bilingual English/Spanish preferred.
Preferred Qualifications
- SHRM-CP, SHRM-SCP, PHR, or SPHR certification.
- Experience supporting a multi-location workforce.
- Experience within the distribution, heavy-equipment, automotive, industrial parts, manufacturing, or logistics industries.
- Experience with HR metrics, employee engagement, compliance audits, and leadership development.

Work Environment
This position operates in a professional office environment while also supporting employees working within warehouse and distribution operations. The HR Manager must be comfortable interacting with employees at all levels of the organization, from warehouse associates and administrative employees to managers, directors, and executive leadership.
Pay: $75,000.00 - $90,000.00 per year
