Duties
- Supervise daily restaurant operations, ensuring smooth service during all shifts
- Lead and motivate staff through effective training, coaching, and team management
- Oversee food preparation and presentation to uphold quality standards
- Manage inventory control, ordering supplies, and minimizing waste
- Handle cash transactions accurately using POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS
- Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and maintain high standards of cleanliness
- Assist in hiring, interviewing, and onboarding new team members
- Monitor customer satisfaction levels and address any service issues promptly
- Support shift management by coordinating schedules and ensuring adequate staffing levels
- Analyze profit and loss reports to identify opportunities for increased efficiency and profitability
Qualifications
- Proven experience in food service management or restaurant supervision with a strong background in hospitality management
- Extensive knowledge of food preparation, cooking techniques, and food safety protocols
- Hands-on experience with POS systems including POS or Micros POS; cash handling skills required
- Demonstrated ability to lead teams effectively in fast-paced environments such as quick service or casual dining restaurants
- Strong organizational skills with experience in inventory control, budgeting, and food management
- Excellent customer service skills with a focus on creating positive guest experiences
- Ability to manage shift schedules, supervise staff training & development, and conduct interviews confidently
- Prior experience in fine dining, catering, bar operations or hotel hospitality is a plus
