We are currently looking for a Full Time Commercial Insurance Producer I to join our Commercial Insurance team located at the Commerce Administration Building working .
Summary:
Analyzes exposures on new and existing business in compliance with agency standards. Responsible for general accounts with a minor level of severity
Responsibilities:
- On an ongoing basis, assess casualty risks throughout the Chickasaw Nation and identify the need for additional types or levels of coverage
- Provides first class customer service - courteous and helpful to all internal and external customer types

- Maintains knowledge of and follows all laws, rules, regulations, policies and SOPs for assigned area, e.g. MICS, TICS, hospital standards, health codes, food sanitation, accounting principles, etc.
- Maintains confidentiality, security, and integrity of data and information
- Promotes and encourages professional personnel development
- Maintains the asset listing for all departments of the Chickasaw Nation to encompass statements of values for all property
- Review policies for compliance with negotiated terms and prepare insurance summaries and any other necessary communications to the business units
- Provide a basic level of consulting services to clients regarding their insurance coverages, loss exposures and coverage needs
- Oversee that account file documents are placed into appropriate sections of automated database
- Determine if policies can be combined to provide client with best premium value
- Coordinate premium financings needs with accounting department(s)
- Maintain a suspense file for proper follow-up of outstanding quotations request(s)
- Work with brokers, ensuring that all required information is obtained, proper applications are completed, quotes and binders are confirmed in writing, and policies are issued promptly and accurately
- Review indications, quotes, binders, submissions and policies for completeness and high degree of accuracy including forms and editions
- Oversee multiple account renewals, expiration and cancellation reports
- Promptly reply to all client request, including expedited requests for policy documentation such as certificates and ID cards
- Prepare and issue premium payment invoicing
- Address adverse situations (Ex: Billing issue, pricing issue, actual Premium vs. quoted premium, status of policy, errors on policies)
- Communicates with Policyholders, Agents, Producers, internal team, or third parties
- Performs premium breakdowns, electronically and/or manually calculates rates
- Handle client requests for information, endorsements, forms and rates for accuracy, recommending changes or amendments
- Check carrier issued policies for accuracy and inform broker and client of forthcoming corrections
- Maintain expected accounts in multiple lines of commercial business while meeting established service delivery, production and quality objectives
