Real Life Christian Academy is seeking a Preschool Lead Teacher to serve at our Mt. Dora campus preschool. This full-time, Monday–Friday position plays a vital role in nurturing and guiding young children through a Christ-centered, developmentally appropriate learning environment.
- Support a Christ-centered, positive, structured, and engaging classroom environment
- Nurture and guide children to promote social, emotional, physical, intellectual, and spiritual growth through our curriculum and age-appropriate lessons
- Complete bi-annual child assessments and parent meetings
- Ensure the health, safety, and well-being of all children at all times
- Establish and maintain respectful, collaborative relationships with parents, families, and co-workers
- Lead, train, and support Teacher Assistants and Substitute Teachers
- High School Diploma or GED required
- Must have an active Early Childhood Credential (ex. CDA, FCCPC, NECC) or a degree in Early Childhood Education from an accredited school
- If degree is out of field, must have a DCF Staff Credential
- Adhere to our accreditation guidelines for Lead Teachers
All candidates considered for employment with Real Life Christian Academy are required to complete a fingerprint-based background screening in accordance with Florida Department of Education requirements. This process is administered through the Florida Department of Law Enforcement (FDLE) Clearinghouse.
