Overview
The Housekeeping Supervisor plays a vital role in maintaining the cleanliness and overall appearance of our facility. This position is responsible for overseeing housekeeping staff, ensuring that all cleaning tasks are completed to the highest standards. Duties
- Supervise and coordinate daily housekeeping operations, including staff assignments and schedules.
- Ensure all areas of the facility are cleaned and maintained according to established standards.
- Conduct regular inspections of guest rooms, public areas, and back-of-house spaces to ensure cleanliness and adherence to safety protocols.
- Train, mentor, and evaluate housekeeping staff to promote professional development and enhance team performance.
- Manage inventory of cleaning supplies and equipment, placing orders as necessary to maintain adequate stock levels.
- Address guest inquiries or concerns regarding housekeeping services promptly and professionally.
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless operations and guest satisfaction.
Skills
- Proven experience in cleaning techniques, including floor care and industrial cleaning methods.
- Previous hotel or hospitality experience is highly desirable.
- Strong janitorial experience with a focus on custodial management practices.
- Excellent leadership abilities with a knack for motivating teams.
- Attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining high cleanliness standards.
- Effective communication skills, both verbal and written, to interact with staff and guests professionally.
