Position: Press Brake Operator
Job Description:
The Press Brake Operator will be responsible for setting up and operating a press brake to produce finished parts for a variety of industries. The Press Brake Operator will be responsible for the proper operation of all equipment and maintaining a safe working environment.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities:
- Set up and operate a press brake to produce finished parts.
- Review drawings, specifications, and tolerances with other team members.
- Maintain quality control by inspecting parts for defects and verifying that the correct parts are being used in the press.
- Complete daily work assignments in a timely manner.
- Follow all safety rules and regulations as well as maintain a clean work area.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Education & Experience:
·High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
·1-2 years of experience preferred.
·Knowledge of basic metalworking tools, such as lathes, milling machines, presses, etc. Required.
·Ability to read blueprints required. The ability to read CNC machining software programs is preferred but not required.
·Ability to work in a team environment required.
·Ability to follow instructions and work under time constraints is required. Must have good communication skills and be able to pass our pre-employment screening process (including background check and drug test).
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $16.96 - $20.43 per hour
