Job Overview:
We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Field Superintendent specializing in Tenant Improvements to lead and oversee construction projects at the site level. This role is vital in ensuring that tenant improvement projects are executed efficiently, safely, and to the highest quality standards. As a key leader on the ground, you will coordinate with project teams, subcontractors, and clients to deliver outstanding results within scope, schedule, and budget. Your expertise in construction management and site supervision will drive project success from start to finish, fostering a culture of safety, quality, and collaboration.
Responsibilities:
- Lead on-site management of tenant improvement construction projects, ensuring adherence to project plans, specifications, and schedules.
- Coordinate daily activities of subcontractors and vendors, ensuring work progresses smoothly and efficiently.
- Monitor construction progress through detailed site inspections, ensuring quality control and compliance with safety standards such as OSHA regulations.
- Develop and maintain project schedules using construction management software like ProCore to track milestones and deadlines.
- Review blueprints, schematics, and construction documents to ensure accurate implementation on-site.
- Manage project budgets by tracking costs, reviewing contracts, and controlling expenditures to stay within financial parameters.
- Conduct regular safety meetings and enforce safety protocols; utilize tools like Ohmmeter for electrical inspections when necessary.
- Oversee project documentation including daily logs, change orders, RFIs (Request for Information), and quality control reports using Procore.
- Collaborate with project managers on contract administration, procurement processes, and subcontractor management.
- Ensure all work complies with local building codes, permits, and regulations while maintaining high standards of craftsmanship.
Skills:
- Minimum of 3 years of proven experience as a TI Commercial Construction Superintendent or in a similar supervisory role within the commercial construction industry.
- Strong knowledge of construction management software such as ProCore.
- Proven ability in project scheduling and management to meet deadlines effectively.
- Deep understanding of contracts, bidding processes, budgeting, and cost control techniques.
- Skilled in blueprint reading, schematics interpretation, and construction estimating.
- Excellent management skills with a track record of supervising teams and coordinating multiple stakeholders.
- Familiarity with OSHA safety standards and best practices for maintaining a safe work environment.
- Strong proficiency in construction management software, particularly Procore & Microsoft Projects.
- Ability to read technical drawings and schematics accurately; experience with pipeline or heavy civil projects is a plus.

Pay: $80,000.00 - $100,000.00 per year
