Job Overview
Serenity Homecare LLC is seeking a compassionate, dependable, and experienced Registered Nurse (RN) to join our growing home health team. In this role, you will provide skilled nursing services to clients in their homes while helping them maintain comfort, dignity, independence, and quality of life.
This position is ideal for a nurse who enjoys one-on-one patient care, flexibility, autonomy, and building meaningful relationships with clients and families.
Responsibilities
- Complete skilled nursing visits in patients’ homes
- Conduct patient assessments and develop individualized care plans
- Monitor and document patient conditions, progress, and outcomes
- Administer medications, treatments, wound care, injections, and other skilled nursing services as ordered by the physician
- Coordinate care with physicians, caregivers, therapists, and office staff
- Educate patients and families regarding diagnoses, medications, treatments, and preventative care
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation in compliance with state and federal regulations
- Participate in care conferences and communicate changes in patient condition promptly
- Ensure HIPAA compliance and patient confidentiality at all times
Qualifications
- Active Nebraska RN license in good standing
- Current CPR/BLS certification
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
- Minimum of 1 year nursing experience preferred
- Home health experience preferred but not required
- Strong assessment, communication, and organizational skills
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively
- Experience with electronic documentation preferred
