Prepare monthly financial statements for an assigned portfolio of properties

Perform month-end close activities, including journal entries, account reconciliations, and financial analysis

Maintain the general ledger and ensure accurate financial reporting

Reconcile bank accounts and balance sheet accounts

Track fixed assets and depreciation

Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis

Support year-end audits and tax preparation

Work closely with property managers and operational teams to provide financial insight

Ensure compliance with GAAP and company accounting policies

Identify opportunities to improve accounting processes and internal controls

Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance

2+ years of accounting experience (property accounting experience is a plus but not required)

Strong understanding of GAAP

Experience with month-end close and financial reporting

Proficiency in Microsoft Excel

Experience with Yardi, MRI, RealPage, or similar ERP systems is a plus

Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills
