Floor Coating Installer
General Acid Proofing Inc. is seeking an experienced Floor Coating Installer to join our growing team. We specialize in industrial protective coatings, fiberglass lining systems, and corrosion-resistant flooring throughout the United States. Responsibilities
- Install industrial epoxy, urethane, and vinyl ester floor coating systems.
- Apply slurry coat flooring systems.
- Install decorative and industrial chip (flake) broadcast systems.
- Trowel epoxy mortar and expansion/control joints.
- Properly mix and measure resin systems, hardeners, aggregates, and additives according to manufacturer specifications.
- Grind, shot blast, and prepare concrete substrates.
- Repair cracks, spalls, and damaged concrete surfaces.
- Maintain quality workmanship while meeting production schedules.
- Follow all OSHA, company, and customer safety requirements.
- Operate coating equipment, mixers, grinders, and other installation tools.
- Travel to customer job sites as required.
Qualifications
- Experience installing industrial resinous floor coating systems preferred.
- Experience with slurry, quartz, chip broadcast, and troweled mortar systems.
- Ability to accurately mix multi-component coating materials.
- Experience with concrete surface preparation equipment.
- Ability to read product data sheets and follow installation specifications.
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
- Ability to lift 75 lbs. and perform physically demanding work.
- Comfortable working in industrial facilities and construction environments.
- Willingness to travel and work overtime when required.
- Must pass a background check and drug test

- Joint filling and repair
- Concrete repair
- Forklift, aerial lift, or OSHA certifications are a plus

Pay: $25.20 - $36.19 per hour
