Duties
- Design, develop, and implement comprehensive computer curriculum tailored to elementary and middle school students, integrating standards-based content and innovative learning tools
- Deliver engaging classroom instruction on topics such as digital literacy, coding, internet safety, and basic software applications
- Utilize LMS platforms to track student progress, assign coursework, and facilitate communication with students and parents
- Adapt teaching methods to accommodate various learning styles and meet the needs of students with disabilities or special education requirements
- Manage classroom behavior effectively through positive reinforcement strategies and behavior management techniques
- Collaborate with fellow teachers to integrate technology into cross-disciplinary projects and school-wide initiatives
- Analyze student performance data to identify areas for instructional modifications and provide targeted tutoring or support as needed
- Communicate regularly with parents regarding student progress, behavioral concerns, and curriculum updates
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of educational compliance regulations related to technology use and special education standards
Qualifications
- Proven experience in classroom teaching, preferably within elementary or middle school settings, with a strong background in computer education
- Familiarity with LMS platforms, learning technology tools, and instructional modifications for diverse learners
- Experience working with children with disabilities or special education needs is highly desirable
- Knowledge of childhood development principles, literacy education, math fundamentals, and standardized testing preparation
- Excellent communication skills for effective collaboration with colleagues, parents, and students from diverse cultural backgrounds
- Strong classroom management skills combined with the ability to adapt lessons based on individual student learning styles
- Demonstrated ability to develop engaging lesson plans that incorporate curriculum implementation best practices
- Experience working in private schools or Montessori environments is a plus
- Ability to analyze student performance data to inform instructional strategies and support academic growth
- Passion for integrating music or library services into the curriculum is an added advantage
