Overview
We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Maintenance Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in maintenance. This role involves ensuring the smooth operation of our student housing apartment community. Trouble shooting maintenance issues, and performing necessary repairs to maintain a safe and efficient working environment.
Responsibilities
- Conduct maintenance and repairs on appliances, plumbing and electrical needs at our apartment community optimal
- Respond to emergency on calls promptly and efficiently
- Repair/Replace HVAC systems
- Service pools and spa's
- Troubleshoot maintenance and electrical issues using tools such as an ohmmeter and schematics.
- Perform welding tasks as needed for repairs or modifications.
- Oversee maintenance projects, ensuring they are completed on time and within specifications.
- Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities using Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS).
- Provide excellent customer service by responding promptly to maintenance requests from staff or residents.
- Execute residential painting tasks to maintain aesthetic standards of facilities.Skills
- Strong electrical, plumbing and appliance experience,
- HVAC/EPA certification required
- CPO certification preferred
- Solid maintenance knowledge with the ability to diagnose and repair various machinery.
- Familiarity with apartment maintenance best practices and standards.
- Excellent customer service skills to interact positively with staff and residents.
- Ability to read and interpret schematics for troubleshooting purposes.
- Background in apartment community maintenance
- Proficiency in English for effective communication within the team.

Pay: $23.00 - $25.00 per hour

Experience:
- Property maintenance: 1 year (Preferred)
License/Certification:
- EPA Certification (Required)
- CPO (Preferred)
