We are seeking a highly motivated Financial Coordinator to join our Pediatrics team.
The Financial Coordinator will provide administrative support to clinical faculty initiatives within the Department of Pediatrics.
Essential Duties:
- Coordinate, monitor, maintain, & process licensing, privileging, and credentialing for faculty through CU Medicine.
- Process CU Medicine Contracts and billing number packets.
- Manage access list for Concur.
- Process procurement through University (UCD), as well as process financial transactions, expense reimbursements, purchase orders, accounts payable, through CU Medicine and UCD.
- Manage Purchase Card (P-Card) reconciliation in UCD and CU Medicine Systems.
- Manage intake and reconciliation of various forms as needed.
- Maintain and update highly confidential files and records.
- Adhere to all fiscal policies and procedures.
- Assist with maintenance of fiscal role updates in UCD finance and CU Marketplace systems.
- Maintain Summary of Commitments (Fund 35s) and submit journal entries as needed.
- Create and maintain department Smartforms as needed, including Concur, Credentialing, and Fund 20 tracking forms.
- Process and track Masters of Clinical Services Scholarship.
- Assist with scheduling for Finance Administrator.
- Assist with special projects and perform other duties as needed.
Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance or related field preferred; equivalent professional experience in accounting or finance may be accepted in lieu of a degree. Basic experience in accounting, preferably in a healthcare setting is a plus. Must possess effective interpersonal skills, attention to detail and the ability to communicate effectively in both verbal and written format. Must possess the ability to multi-task in a fast paced environment, and have experience utilizing Salesforce. The ideal candidate will demonstrate the ability to prioritize, follow through, and multi-task in a fast paced environment.
