Direct Support Professional (DSP) / Companion Support Staff
Pay: Up to $20.20 per hour + mileage reimbursement ($0.73 per mile)
We are seeking a reliable, compassionate, and energetic Direct Support Professional to support a 25-year-old autistic, mostly nonverbal male in community-based activities and daily enrichment opportunities.
Position Details
- Approximately 12 hours per week
- Flexible scheduling
- Family preference for support spread across 4 days per week
- Community-based support and transportation required
About the Individual The person supported enjoys:
- Hiking and nature walks
- Community outings
- Going to the movies
- Browsing shops and local stores
- Staying active and engaged in the community

Requirements
- Minimum 2 years of related experience
- Valid driver's license
- Reliable vehicle
- Current vehicle registration and insurance
- Clean driving record
- Ability to pass required background checks
Compensation
- Up to $20.20 per hour
- Mileage reimbursement at $0.73 per mile while providing transportation during support activities
