Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Private Duty Nurse to provide personalized care to 30 yo patient with cerebral palsy in his home. The ideal candidate will possess a strong clinical background and the ability to work independently while ensuring the highest standards of patient care.
Duties
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by healthcare providers.
- Provide critical care support for patients with complex medical needs.
- Assist with medical-surgical procedures for patients with cognitive impairments.
- Conduct assessments and follow individualized care plan.
- Manage acute pain effectively, utilizing appropriate interventions and therapies.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive patient care.
- Document all patient interactions, treatments, and progress accurately in medical records.
- Educate patients and their families on health management and wellness strategies.
Qualifications
- Valid FL nursing license.
- Proven experience in private duty nursing or relevant clinical settings.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with a focus on patient education.
- Strong assessment skills and the ability to recognize and report abnormal results.
- Ability to work independently while demonstrating strong critical thinking skills.
