About GH Logistics
GH Logistics is seeking a detail-oriented Trailer Operations Analyst to support the daily management of our trailer fleet across Texas and Tennessee. This role is responsible for monitoring trailer utilization, tracking key operational metrics, supporting trailer recovery efforts, coordinating repairs, assisting with dock assignments, and maintaining accurate reporting.
This position is ideal for someone who enjoys analyzing data, solving operational problems, and working closely with transportation, maintenance, safety, and carrier partners to keep equipment moving efficiently.
Responsibilities

Monitor trailer utilization and maintain accurate trailer tracking reports.

Build and maintain reports related to trailer recovery, repair turnaround, utilization, aging, and operational performance.

Coordinate trailer retrievals with carriers and facilities to minimize delays and equipment downtime.

Assist with trailer dock assignments to support preload and daily operations.

Track detention, late returns, trailer damage, repair costs, and prepare documentation for carrier chargebacks.

Coordinate trailer repairs with maintenance vendors and monitor repair progress until completion.

Support safety initiatives by tracking inspections, out-of-service equipment, and compliance documentation.

Investigate trailer exceptions and work them through resolution.

Maintain accurate records within company systems and spreadsheets.

Communicate effectively with carriers, internal departments, and vendors regarding trailer status and operational issues.
Qualifications
-
Minimum of 2 years of experience in transportation, logistics, dispatch, fleet coordination, asset management, or a related field.

Strong Microsoft Excel skills, including reporting and data analysis.

Excellent organizational and problem-solving abilities.

Comfortable communicating with carriers and resolving operational issues professionally.

Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

Strong attention to detail and follow-through.

Smartphone for work communication.

Reliable transportation to our San Antonio office.
Preferred Qualifications

Experience with Samsara or other GPS/telematics platforms.

Trailer fleet or asset management experience.

Knowledge of detention billing, trailer chargebacks, freight claims, or cost recovery.

Experience coordinating trailer repairs and maintenance vendors.

Transportation, distribution center, or supply chain operations experience.
