We are looking for an experienced EEG Technologist to work full time out of our office in Schaumburg, IL. Neurotech is the nation’s leading provider of remote monitored EEG testing. Position Summary: The individual seeking this position will be responsible for understanding how to perform EEG set ups. Ideal candidate will possess outstanding organization, communication, trouble shooting, and customer service skills, be a team player, maintain confidentiality, and be comfortable working with technology.
Experience/Credentials:
- Graduate from an accredited END program and/or 2 years of EEG experience (required)
- R. EEG T. credentials from ABRET (preferred - not required)
- In-home healthcare experience (preferred - not required)
- Certification in CPR (required)
Technologist responsibilities include :
- Driving to patient homes or physician offices to conduct EEG studies
- Conducting EEG hookups using 10/20 system
- Conducting EEG hookups at patient’s residence
- Taking an accurate and detailed patient history
- Clipping and scanning EEG studies (must have R. EEG T. credentials for this responsibility)
- Cleaning and sterilizing EEG equipment
- Remotely monitoring patients to verify quality of EEG (must have R. EEG T. credentials for this responsibility)
- Troubleshooting equipment or patient issues, as necessary
- Participating in on-call coverage
Hourly wage:
$26.00 to $32.00 / hour (based on experience and credentials)
Schedule:
Full time: Monday - Friday, 8:00 am to 4:30 pm - 30 to 40 hours per week.
Plus, included in on-call rotation for weeknights (5:00 pm - 6:00pm) and weekends (Saturdays and Sundays - 8:00 am to 2:00 pm) for active patients in area.
