Project Assistant - Law Firm.
Farleigh Wada Witt, is growing our team and we are seeking a project assistant to provide administrative backup support to our legal assistants and paralegals in the creditor's rights department. This is a full-time, onsite, Monday-Friday, 8:30 am- 5:30 pm, 40 hour per week position in our downtown Portland office.
As a Project Assistant, you are responsible for providing administrative support on many duties including:
- Scanning, profiling and emailing applicable mail, checks, and documents for the team
- Helping prepare first draft pleadings off default and writ of garnishment templates
- Calendaring and docketing dates for ongoing tasks, requests, client case follow-up and more
- Assisting legal assistants with copying and mailing at end of day
- Support paralegals with assembling hearing/document notebooks
- Collection department filing (digital and physical files)
- Printing and profiling emails with large volume/number of attachments
- Preparing client closing letters
- Scanning, copying and profiling completed projects
- Backup other team members as needed

- High School graduate or equivalent
- Previous office administrative experience
