Team Lead
Bibimbox is a Korean fusion restaurant offering a diverse menu featuring authentic Korean cuisine, crispy wings, refreshing bingsu, specialty drinks, and soft-serve desserts. We combine traditional and modern flavors to create a welcoming and vibrant dining experience.
Bibimbox is looking for a dependable, enthusiastic, and experienced Team Lead to help support our daily restaurant operations. This position is ideal for someone who enjoys working in a fast-paced environment, leading by example, supporting team members, and providing excellent customer service.
Responsibilities
- Open and close the restaurant according to company procedures
- Lead and supervise team members throughout the shift
- Assign stations and ensure employees remain productive and organized
- Coach team members and provide constructive feedback when needed
- Help train new employees on restaurant procedures, customer service, and food preparation
- Greet customers and provide friendly, professional service
- Handle customer questions, concerns, and complaints appropriately
- Operate the cash register and ensure transactions are completed accurately
- Handle cash, deposits, refunds, discounts, and other approved transactions according to company policy
- Monitor employee discounts and customer discounts to ensure they are applied correctly
- Explain menu items and recommend food, drinks, and desserts
- Ensure orders are prepared and packaged accurately and presented in an aesthetically pleasing manner
- Prepare coffee, specialty drinks, shaved ice desserts, and soft-serve ice cream when needed
- Ice cream machine operations.
- Monitor cleanliness, food safety, store safety, and security standards
- Ensure the dining area, service stations, and work areas remain clean and organized
- Assist with inventory, restocking, preparation, and general restaurant duties
- Communicate operational, staffing, or customer concerns to management
- Maintain regular and consistent attendance and punctuality
- Be available to perform different tasks and support any station during the shift
What We’re Looking For
- Previous restaurant, food-service, or leadership experience is required
- Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills
- Friendly and professional attitude
- Ability to supervise, coach, and motivate team members
- Strong work ethic and willingness to lead by example
- Ability to multitask and make decisions in a fast-paced environment
- Comfortable handling cash, customer concerns, refunds, and discounts
- Ability to remain calm and professional during busy or challenging situations
- Willingness to learn, improve, and accept constructive feedback
- Dependable attendance and punctuality
- Flexible availability, including evenings, weekends, and holidays
- Ability to commit to at least 25 hours per week
