Registered Nurse Inpatient Rehab
Location: Herrin, Illinois
Pay Rate: $56.00 to $60.00/hr
Contract: 13 Weeks
Schedule: Night shifts, 7:00 PM 7:00 AM
Total Working Hours: 36 Hours/Week
Experience: Minimum 2 years required
About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Registered Nurse for a 13-week contract opportunity in Herrin, Illinois. This role supports inpatient rehabilitation patients, including a high neuro population, and requires strong clinical judgment, patient assessment skills, and the ability to collaborate with a multidisciplinary care team.
Responsibilities
Provide direct nursing care to inpatient rehab patients.
Assess patients' physical, mental, and spiritual care needs.
Develop, implement, and evaluate individualized care plans.
Monitor patient condition and report clinical changes promptly.
Provide patient and family education, explanations, and discharge support.
Collaborate with the multidisciplinary healthcare team.
Maintain complete and accurate documentation using EPIC.
Support Core Measure responsibilities and quality patient care standards.
Contribute to a positive care environment through professional communication.
Requirements
Active Illinois Registered Nurse license required.
BLS/BCLS certification required.
Minimum 2 years of RN experience required.
Inpatient rehab, medical-surgical, or neuro nursing experience preferred.
Stroke certification preferred but not required.
EPIC experience preferred.
Night shift availability required.
Every third weekend availability required.
Strong assessment, communication, and clinical judgment skills required.
