Job Summary
We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Kitchen Receiver to join our dynamic warehouse team. Responsibilities
- Receive incoming shipments of kitchen supplies & ingredients
- Verify shipment contents against purchase orders and delivery documentation with attention to detail
- Inspect items for damages, discrepancies, or quality issues, documenting findings accurately
- Prepare items for storage or distribution by packing, labeling, and organizing inventory efficiently
Experience
- Prior experience working in warehouse operations or logistics environments preferred
- Familiarity with warehouse management systems (WMS), ERP systems, or inventory management software essential
- Hands-on experience with shipping logistics, order fulfillment, and international trade regulations advantageous
- Ability to operate forklifts, pallet jacks, RF scanners, and other warehouse equipment safely required
- Basic math skills necessary for counting, measuring, and verifying quantities accurately
- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail in data entry and stock management
- Excellent customer service mindset when interacting with internal teams or external vendors
