Duties
- Perform a variety of nail services including manicures, pedicures, gel manicures, acrylic nail applications, and nail extensions with precision and artistry.
- Apply color theory principles to recommend suitable shades and designs that complement each client’s style.
- Conduct sanitation and disinfection procedures in accordance with salon safety protocols to ensure a hygienic environment.
- Communicate effectively with clients to understand their preferences, provide expert advice on nail care, and suggest retail products or additional treatments.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of current trends in nail art, techniques like dermabrasion or eyelash extensions, and new product offerings.
- Uphold salon safety standards by following disinfection procedures and ensuring all tools are properly sanitized after each use.
- Engage in retail sales by upselling nail care products, skincare items, or beauty treatments to enhance client experience and salon revenue.
- Booth rental is $400 monthly
- First month is free with a 6 month contrac.
Qualifications
- Proven experience working as a Nail Technician or in the beauty industry with knowledge of manicure, pedicure, gel nails, acrylic application, and nail extensions.
- Strong understanding of color theory and nail art techniques to create customized designs.
- Certification in cosmetology or esthetician licensing as required by local regulations.
- Familiarity with salon safety protocols, sanitation standards, disinfection procedures, and client communication best practices.
- Knowledge of additional services such as body waxing, hair styling, eyelash extensions, hair threading, or esthetic laser treatments is a plus.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to connect with clients professionally and confidently.
- Ability to upsell retail products effectively while maintaining a friendly and professional demeanor.
